What delivery services do you use for UK delivery?

UK deliveries are couriered via the Royal Mail’s 1st Class Signed service for orders under £200 and their Special Delivery service for orders over £200. Both services arrive the next working day.

Being available to sign for your delivery is essential, consider setting an alternate day with Royal Mail if required. We will send a dispatch email containing your tracking number as soon as we have posted your order, which should typically arrive the next day.

What delivery services do you use for international delivery?

International deliveries are couriered by Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed. International deliveries may incur costs like customs and import duties and local taxes.

International deliveries will be tracked and will require a signature upon delivery. Typical delivery time is 3-5 business days.

Returns & Exchanges

Whats your returns policy?

At The Carat Club, we’re confident in the quality of our products. However, in the unlikely event you are unhappy with your purchase the following returns policy applies:

  • Products must be returned within 30 days by the customer.
  • Products must be unused, undamaged, and in saleable condition.
  • Your order must be returned with its original packaging. Each stone will be inspected, tested and weighed to ensure it is the same product we sent originally.
  • Custom cut stones are excluded from our returns policy, unless faulty or otherwise agreed in writing

If your purchase meets the above criteria a refund will be issued within 2 days of return.

Do you do exchanges?

In the event you bought the wrong item and would like an exchange the following exchange policy applies:

  • Products must be returned within 30 days by the customer.
  • Products must be unused, undamaged, and in saleable condition.
  • Your order must be returned with its original packaging. Each stone will be inspected, tested and weighed to ensure it is the same product we sent originally.
  • Custom cut stones are excluded from our exchange policy.

If you wish to exchange an item, please let us know by email that you would like to initiate an exchange and provide details on the product you would like to exchange and the new product you would like.

The item being exchanged will need to be posted back to us where we will confirm that it is accepted under our exchanges policy above.

If accepted, the new item will be dispatched as soon as possible. If the new item is cheaper than the one your returned we will process a partial refund. If the new item is more expensive than the one you returned, we will charge you the difference before dispatching.

How do I send my order back?

Returns and exchanges must be made by delivery. We ask that you follow these important steps to return your purchase.

  • Email us at thecaratclubuk@gmail.co.uk, or use the Contact Us page. This is essential before returning your order.
  • When confirmed with your point of contact, you should package your item with the original packaging.
  • You should avoid writing anything on the package or within the address that alludes to the package contents, for example ‘diamonds’. Instead, address the package as follows:
  • ‘FAO name of your point of contact’, The Carat Club, 10 Cornelia House, London, NW9 4DU'.
  • We ask that you return items within the UK via Royal Mail First Class Signed or Special Delivery depending on the value, making sure the package is tracked and insured. Make sure you obtain proof of posting.
  • For international returns, select a reliable courier, ensure tracking and insurance, and collect proof of dispatch.
